2014 NFL Mock Draft

The 2014 NFL Draft is shaping up to be another year of the quarterback.  We can have as many as four quarterbacks being drafted in the first 10 picks.  And don’t forget about Johnny Manziel and AJ McCarron.  The guy who is flying up the boards right now is QB Blake Bortles.  Pay attention to how he does in his bowl game.  One scout has him as the top quarterback in the draft.    If you don’t believe us, take a look at how high Christian Ponder and Tim Tebow ended up going.

It looks a little light for defensive ends this year except for one, Jadeveon Clowney.  Clowney will be in the hunt for the number one overall pick but could easily slide down to just outside the top five depending on which teams need quarterback. One thing we do know for sure is that there will be plenty of changes between now and the end of the NFL season; and then the real fun begins.  Therefore, this 2014 NFL Mock Draft will change weekly, even daily as news happens.  It’s possible that as many as six teams will be looking for a new starting quarterback and the only real off season move that one of these teams can make is for Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Bortles is moving up & I don’t think Glennon has shown he has any magic (tough circumstances, to be sure), so a nice pick for my Bucs.
